Expansion to USA, Opening of the third steel mill, Technological Advances and Innovation

By acquiring Mid Continent Nails in the US., our presence increased in the American market; meanwhile, we increased our production of 100% recycled steel in Mexico with the operational start-up of the new Ramos Steel Mill (Acería Ramos) ; and strengthenedour logistics model by introducing the first North Macrohub (Macrohub Norte) in Escobedo, Nuevo León, Mexico.

2010 and 2011: Addition of the Recycling Centers in Mexicali, Tijuana and San Luis Potosí, which allowed us to increase production of recycled steel.

2012: Acquisition of Mid-Continent Nails in the US. and addition of Magnum, pneumatic gun nails manufacturing brand leader, to the DEACERO® portfolio.

2012: Operational start-up of the SMF Rolling Mill in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico.

2013: Operational start-up of the Ramos Arizpe Steel Mill (Acería Ramos Arizpe).

2014: Development of the business model for direct sales to infrastructure projects, which have also evolved to other construction projects.

2016: Creation of INGETEK, a solution-expert company specialized in in concrete reinforcing steel fabrication and steel products.

2019: Opening of our first Macrohub in the Northern region of Mexico to optimize and specialize our logistics and shipment of products to our customers and distributors by using new technologies.

Creation of the DLabs, a digital innovation lab where new technological solutions are created to boost digital transformation of DECERO® and their affiliates.

In this decade, we formed strategic alliances in the steel industry that would become a key factor in the performance of our plants and steel mills.
