Origin

Deacero´s origins go back to Mr. César Gutierrez vision of starting up a business based on providing the best wires. From his early childhood, he would sell hangers that he, himself, would make; later in life, Mr. Gutiérrez would start the company, after having built the first equipment to manufacture wire products.

Mrs. Virginia Muguerza, a woman always innovating with her ideas, work and way of life, was a key factor during the first 30 years of DEACERO®, as she actively engaged in the Marketing Department and worked with the Sales Department.

While Mr. Cesar turned DEACERO® in an unparalleled company in the steel industry, Mrs. Virginia embedded, from the beginning, DEACERO’s social responsibility that is very much alive in the company to this day.

Together, they built DEACERO®, a legacy that has been dedicated, since 1952, to generate growth through steel and its derivatives.
