It all begins with the collection of disused ferrous material that we concentrate in our 21 Recycling Centers.
We process, clean, and transport it to our steel mills.
We transform 98% of residues into sub-products that are used in other industries, such as:
Railroad
Agriculture
Ceramics
Construction
Pharmaceutical
Oil
We turn it into liquid in our Smelting Furnaces.
Once it is melted, it passes to the Ladle Furnaces where we ensure the best quality of the steel.
We mold it in a bar shape (billet) and we cool it.
The billet is a bar-shaped semi-finished steel product, which is used as raw material for the rolling process through which long steel products are obtained, such as rebars, wire rods, bars & beams, among others.
Our wire rods, rebars, and bars & beams originate from the billet.
The wire rod is converted into different types of wires for countless uses.
When the products complete their life cycle.
WE START OVER AGAIN
We reuse them and convert them into new DEACERO® products, over and over again.
